A German has build a bicycle that weighs nearly a tonne in order for it to be listed by the Guinness book of world records as the heaviest bicycle in the world.
Frank Dose for the first time rides his self made bicycle in Rade, Germany. With giant tires from an industrial fertilizer spreader and scrap steel, a Dose has built a bike weighing 940 kilograms (2,072 pound) that he plans to pedal into the record books as the world’s heaviest rideable bicycle.

Frank Dose, the German is doing everything he could to make his innovation get listed by the Guinness book of world records. He has already spent more than four thousand, five hundred dollars on the bicycle.

The bicycle weighs nine hundred and forty kilograms now. This has beaten the weight of the current heaviest bicycle in the world which weighs eight hundred and sixty kilograms. However, Dose is not done with the building as he is still adding more components to the bicycle in order to get it to weigh a tonne.

This bicycle has gone through a lot of testing as the Dose wants to make sure it can travel up to five hundred yards in order for it to be listed in the world record. This is a remarkable invention.
