We look often quite surprised if a stranger just gives us a compliment or unexpectedly friendly. you almost do not remember how to react and if someone compliments your outfit, then you immediately wonder what those of you want. It almost seems that we have forgotten how to be nice to each other.
Even the smallest compliment can have a big impact. 18-year-old Shea Glover, a high-school student from Chicago, proved this presenting the results of her social experiment.
She put people in front of her camera and then told them “I’m taking pictures of things I find beautiful.” Their reactions will stun you! At an instant, people’s faces transformed from passive to full of raw emotion – joy, laughs with kind (and even angry) words.
“I conducted an independent project which evidently turned into a social experiment regarding beauty,” Glover comments. “I want to clarify that my intentions were not to get a reaction out of people. I was simply filming beauty and this is the result.”
