"They (AAP) have revolutionised politics in this country, I'm fascinated with it," he said.

Announcing Mr Balakrishnan's exit on December 20 as member of the board and from services of the company, Infosys had said the resignation was to take effect from December 31, 2013.

In response to a question whether he was looking for a full time political career along with business commitments, he said, "In future, I think so… I think I will be able to manage both."

Mr Balakrishnan, soon after his exit from Infosys, had said he was waiting for approval from market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) for his private equity fund, which he has formed along with former Infosys executive Mohandas Pai and former Wipro executive Girish Paranjpe.

To a question on contesting the Lok Sabha elections, he said, "It's too early to say anything about it."

Mr Balakrishnan was also the BPO head at Infosys as well as the chairman of Infosys Lodestone, a global management consultancy firm.

The exit of Infosys director V. Balakrishnan (Former Chief Finacial Officer Infy), who is popularly called Bala, last week came as a shock to many investors. Bala was seen by many as the candidate to become the Infosys' next chief executive. His resignation, the eighth senior-level exit at Infosys in the last six months, also led to speculation that all might not be well with the company despite the return of founder NR Narayana Murthy at the helm.
