Professional burnout among healthcare workers has become one of the most pressing issues in modern medicine. According to international studies, up to 60% of physicians experience symptoms of emotional exhaustion, and in wartime conditions in Ukraine, this percentage may be significantly higher. Dentists represent one of the most vulnerable professional groups: daily stress, high precision demands, emotional strain from patient interactions, power outages, and economic instability create a perfect storm for burnout.
Dental Academy is launching a large-scale scientific study aimed at examining the level of professional burnout among dentists in Ukraine. We utilize the internationally recognized Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) methodology — one of the most accurate burnout diagnostic tools that assesses three key dimensions:
✅ Personal burnout — overall physical and psychological exhaustion
✅ Work-related burnout — fatigue directly connected to professional activities
✅ Client-related burnout — emotional exhaustion from patient interactions
The survey includes 33 questions: 10 demographic items (age, experience, specialization, workload) and 23 questions based on the CBI methodology. Completion takes only 7-10 minutes, and participants receive instant results with detailed interpretation of scores for each scale (0-100 points).
