Filmed in the Philippines, it actually has a message for the entire world.
Ever stop to think about the people in your life whom you see everyday and who help you in one way or another? Perhaps it’s your mailman delivering your mail, the bus driver, your children’s teacher, the waitress at your favorite restaurant, the grocery bagger at your local supermarket, or the guy who faithfully opens the door to the building you live in.
Now think about the ways these people serve you on a daily basis, and then try to recall the last time you thanked them for what they do.
This new Coca-Cola ad released in the Philippines has gained widespread attention in the last few days for addressing this very issue.
Published on last week Thursday, the ad shows several people who answer one simple question:
“Who are the people you say thank you to everyday?”
The last half of the three minute ad (from 1:50 on) is especially touching:

Although each person is grateful for a certain person whom they see in their day to day lives, none of them seem to know the names of the people they so appreciate. This fact, however, quickly changes.
The clip may be great marketing for Coca-Cola, but this ad still serves as an important reminder to be thankful for the unappreciated, servant-hearted people we meet on a daily basis.
Challenge yourself to take time every single day to thank those who serve you – just be sure to get their name. Not only will you make their day, you will encourage them to continue their work with the knowledge they are positively impacting the lives of those around them.
Now that’s a good feeling.
