What happens when you put a boy in front of a girl and ask him to slap her? Here is how children react to the subject of violence against women.
Domestic violence is a big problem in our modern world. The whole world is suffering from this problem. And so is in European Country Italy, A 2012 United Nations report called it “the most pervasive form of violence” in the country. Keeping that in mind the Online Italian newspaper “Fanpage.it” did a social experiment by Italian video journalist Luca Lavarone on a busy Italian street, stopping multiple young boys and their families.
They interviewed a series of young men all under age of 11. In the video which they named “Slap Her” , the young men are asked to compliment the young girl. They are asked to make a funny face at the girl to make her laugh. They are asked to caress her. All of the boys adorably oblige. Then they are asked to slap her.
