If you watch the blooper reel you'd see that several people asked for things that weren't tangible products. But obviously for the sake of this video they only included the items that could actually be purchased and delivered to people.
The Christmas spirit was that WestJet made all of that happen for their passengers. That is where the giving was happening. Sure its good publicity for them but at least it was for a good cause and it made people happy.
