Pallavi Sharda is an Australian-Indian actress and dancer (of Indian ancestry), trained in Bharatha Natyam.She attended University of Melbourne where she commenced her LLB and BA (Media & Communications) & Diploma in Modern Languages (French).
In 2010, she made her Bollywood debut with the film My Name is Khan. That same year, she was also crowned Miss India Australia in Sydney.

Pallavi Sharda was born on 5 March 1988 in Perth, Australia. Pallavi Sharda mother Dr. Hema Sharda (Director of South Asian Relations at the University of Western Australia), and father Dr. Nalin Kant Sharda (Professor of Computer Science at Victoria University). Her parents are from Delhi, her father is Punjabi. Both her parents are IIT alumni and have PhDs in science and engineering. They migrated to Australia in the 1980s before she was born.
She was very good in academics and she obtained a scholarship to Lowther Hall Anglican Grammar School, Melbourne. Due to her academic excellence, she was given a double promotion from the eight to the tenth standard. At a ripe age of sixteen, she started her course in Law, Media and Communication and Diploma in Modern Languages (in French) at the prestigious Melbourne University. After having completed her 6 year course in 5 years she shifted to Mumbai, India in 2008.
Her very first role in the glamorous world of Bollywood was in the Karan Johar directed ‘My Name is Khan’, where she played a cameo alongside Shahrukh Khan and Kajol.

Pallavi Sharda started her journey in Bollywood with a cameo role in My Name is Khan the Karan Johar’s movie in 2010. While the same year, she won the title of Miss India Australia held in March 2010 in Sydney. Her next venture was the comedy drama called Dus Tola in the same year, wherein the played the character of Geeta a dance teacher in the village in opposite to Manoj Bajpai. Though the movie didn’t bring laurels over the box office, however, her performance in the said movie garnered positive response. Her next release was the movie called Walkaway, which was an Indo American movie released the very same year of 2010 all over the United States. The year 2011 gave her the movie called Love Breakup Zindagi.
