She started her career from movie “Vaah! life ho to Aisi!” in year 2005. Apte’s first starring role was in the 2009 Bengali social drama Antaheen. She made her Marathi film debut in 2009 with the tragic romance Samaantar. Radhika Apte – Interesting Life’s Facts
At the age of 8 only, she started taking training in Kathak and Rohini Bhate.
Her journey to Mumbai was not that easy, she failed many times and felt dispointed in her struggleful life, as a result she moved back to her family in Pune.
At the age of 18, he started acting in the Marathi theater drama groups.
Radhika Apte told in an interview that when she was struggling in Mumbai she was getting 8 to 10,000 rupees per month.
Like a normal struggling girl, she used to stay in Goregaon with her room-mates as a paying guest.
She has quit the thought of continuing in Mumbai as she was not ready to compromise, said in interview with Scoophoop. And decided to go to London for one year, where she studied London’s Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
