This is Part I of Arjun Menon's "India : #ChangeThePerception" time-lapse project.
He like many other Indians wants to change the conventional perception of what "India" is, beyond the bullock carts and snake charmers! beyond the bullock carts and snake charmers!
He funded his idea by shooting weddings, his project involved months of travel to some stunning natural and architectural wonders in India. In the past 4 months, He has shot over 2million images and has compiled some of them here for Part 1 of his project.
The locations vary from Spiti Valley in the Himalayas to Beaches of Andaman Islands, Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh) from north eastern India to Taj Mahal in Agra etc. There is just so much more to see! (Hint : Part II )
He has had a wholesome learning experience through this project and had an opportunity to meet so many new people who have inspired him and many other Indians like him in different ways. He would encourage all of you to just pack your bags and travel, it is just the initial bump of uncertainty which comes in our way to exploring, once we are past that, there is no looking back!
