Wrinkles on the face always talks about the experience and not just the age. Laxman Rao, age 62, a tea staller along roadside of ITO area in Delhi, moonlights as an author and has written 24 novels out of which 12 have been published. Yes, he is a Chaiwala! Not just writing, he also publishes and distributes these novels.
A marathi by birth, Laxman Rao insists on writing only in Hindi language and has been rewarded and recognised by eminent constitutional heads like Late Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Former President Mrs. Pratibha Patil and many more.
His books, such as Ramdas, Renu, Nayi Duniya Ki Nayi Kahai and many more, are available at Delhi Public Library and many school libraries.
This man defied all odds, and achieved what he wanted to. A true inspiration!
